Good Letter Writing is a free, plain-English guide to writing letters that work: formal letters, complaints, enquiries, personal letters, cover letters and the CV that goes with them.
The site has been online for many years and now runs on WordPress.

- Short guides to the conventions of written English: greetings and sign-offs, spelling and punctuation.
Everything on the site is free to read and use. We do not write letters for you and we do not sell a writing service.
How the site is paid for
The site currently carries no advertising. If adverts are added later they will be clearly marked, they will never influence the advice, and the Privacy Policy will say what the advertising network collects.
